Installation of a walk in bath.
Installing a walk in bath should be carried out by a qualified plumber. Prior to installation a survey should be carried out to determine the most suitable product and access the available space in the bathroom, identifying any potential issues. A survey by a qualified and experienced company should ensure you receive the correct quotation and have a trouble free installation.
The installation process should be no more complicated than installing a traditional bath. Consideration will need to be given to the plumbing requirements, especially if you choose a dual drainage plug model. If the installation simple consists of removing the old traditional bath and replacing with a same sized walk in bath, the process should be straight forward. If the bathroom layout is being altering with the toilet, sink and bath being moved to different locations then the process will be more complicated and generally more expensive.
Once the bath has been installed, and your toilet and sink moved if required, consideration will need to be given to whether new tiles are required, and possible flooring.
