Walk in Baths Features.
Modern walk in baths can be fitted with various features. Some may be fitted as standard other will be added on at extra costs. Before you buy establish which features are included in the quote, and how much you are paying to those features, and if they are really required.
Such features include:
Thermostatic Taps – As the user will be in the bath when it fills it is vital that the water temperature is regulated. Thermostatic taps will allow the user to set the desired temperature whilst the bath fills.
Quick Drainage – A quick drain feature will allow the user to exit the bath quickly as the water will drain faster than if fitted with normal drainage. This is important to prevent the user from becoming old whilst the water drains.
Quick Fill – As with quick drain a faster filling bath will ensure the user doesn’t sit in the bath for a long period waiting for the bath to fill.
Hydrotherapy – some baths cab be fitted with such systems which work in a similar to a spa by circulating jets of water or bubbles which may help ease aches and pains.
Seat - Some modern baths have molded seats to ease the users experience and remove the need to lower and raise themselves when entering and exiting the baths.
Safety Features:
Grab Rails – will aid with entering and exiting the bath.
Anti slip floor – the bath floor can have improved grip to help prevent slipping.
